As You already know stem cell transplant is one of the fastest developing
fields in the treatment of cancer as well as non-malignant diseases. However
stem cell transplant, either allogeneic or autologous, is already standard
treatment for many diseases such as CML, some types and stages of NHL.
Next, a few words on the basics of allogeneic, autologous and non-myeloablative
or mini transplants.
